Giving

At D’Amore Interiors, we believe in helping out and lending a hand when needed. We believe that, despite what you hear all throughout the media, there are good people and good things going on in the world. We love the opportunity to be a part of a good cause, and when given the chance, we like to have fun while doing it. We understand that there are some very unfortunate situations going on around us, and we have been blessed enough to help be part of the solution.
Below you will find some of the charity events that we organize and causes that we donate to annually. If you would like to attend, volunteer, or donate to any of the events or causes below, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us on the about/contact page.

Building the Future Charity Event:

giving

D'Amore Interiors’ signature yearly event which benefits the Children’s Diabetes Foundation. With Luxe Magazine as our media partner, each year we invite anywhere from 10-15 local furniture makers to compete against each other. They are given the task of making any piece of furniture they want, but every year has a different challenge. One year builders had to come pick up a pallet from our back dock and they were required to incorporate that pallet wood somewhere in their design. Another year, builders had to come get old wooden, metal, fabric, and leather samples that we no longer needed at the store and the builders had to find a way to use those samples somewhere in their design. We then host an event in our showroom in June where all of the furniture pieces are placed up for silent auction, with proceeds going to the CDF. As an incentive for the builders, it’s also a competition. The winner has the opportunity to be featured in our showroom and also receives an award ad in Luxe Magazine (voted on by the D'Amore Interiors team & judged based on specific categories). Hope Reins: A Benefit for Horse Rescue:

giving

Possibly the most fun event you’ll ever attend, while raising money for an amazing foundation at the same time. Drifter’s Hearts of Hope started off as an organization to rescue horses who were scheduled to be slaughtered. Over time, they morphed into an unbelievable group who now empowers kids with special needs to help give their rescue horses a second chance at life.
At our September event, we raise money through auction, merchandise sales, raffles and more. Show up in your cowboy gear and get ready to have some fun. You’ll find a western themed party filled with a rowdy crowd, great food and drinks, a mechanical bull, and possibly a few other surprises. Holiday Raffle Giveaway:

Each year in mid December we have a drawing which is held live on Facebook, where we give $1,000 towards a person or family in need. The twist: The names entered into the raffle drawing come from our customers. We ask our entire client base to send us the name of a person or family who is struggling financially during the holiday season and could use some help. It could be a single mom wanting to give her kids presents for Christmas, a family with unexpected medical bills, etc. The most recent recipient was a single mother of 3, who lost her husband to a careless craigslist incident where he ended up getting shot and passing. She was left with funeral bills, expenses, 3 children to care for, and the list goes on. If you have a nomination you’d like to submit at any time, please email to eric@damoreinteriors.com.

A Precious Child:

We’re over the moon excited to be a gold sponsor for this amazing foundation. A Precious Child assists children and families facing difficult life challenges such as abuse and neglect, crisis situations and poverty. They work with more than 440 agency partners throughout eight Denver Metro counties including Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Broomfield, Denver, Douglas, Jefferson and Weld to identify children and families in the most need of their services. Their core initiatives help build the whole child. In addition to meeting basic human needs through their Resource Center and Boutiques (satellite resource centers), they also help children and their families navigate community resources. This work is done through their COR (Child Outcomes Resource) Center where the Child Outcomes Advocates provide personalized case management to disadvantaged and displaced children and families, connecting them with needed resources, services, opportunities and educational support. Through the four Key Focus Areas, A Precious Child aims to bridge the gap in children’s education so they can become secure, self-reliant, contributing members of their communities as adults.
